How This Works

  • In many places in Germany, the climate emergency has already been declared. In order for this not only to remain hot air, but also to become words for ambitious climate protection, cities should implement Fossil Free Resolutions.
  • As many communities and cities implement the Fossil Free Resolutions, we show how the just transition to a world without coal, oil and gas can also be national. Climate justice and the common good as a basis for change? No expansion of fossil infrastructure in Germany? No funding for coal, oil and gas projects? We can accomplish this and more through a broad movement of locally rooted and networked groups.
  • You and your team become campaigners for climate justice at the local level.
