Immediately freeze any new investments in fossil fuel companies. Divest from direct ownership and any commingled funds that include fossil fuel public equities and corporate bonds within five (5) years.
Why is this important?
Our home city of Edina, MN and her residents are directly and imminently at risk of harm, physically, financially, and culturally from the disastrous consequences of global warming. It is in our immediate power as citizens to change the course of climate history by refunding the harmful practices of the fossil fuel industry.
