Stop new investment in companies that use fossil fuels and pledge to divest present holdings in these companies over the next five years - being not invested in companies that harm the environment and the human and animal life that depend upon it by the end of the five year period.
Why is this important?
Corporate fear and thoughtless greed is destroying the future for our children. We must change to renewable and sustainable energy sources like solar and wind and stop strip mining, building pipelines that will break, exploiting off-shore oil knowing that accidents are inevitable -- partly because so much regulation and oversight is being done by the companies that are polluting in the first place.
