The City of Oceanside should immediately freeze any new investments in fossil fuel, and divest from direct ownership and any other funds that include fossil fuel public equities and corporate bonds within 5 years.
Why is this important?
We need to invest to develop clean, renewable energy production and stop investing and supporting fossil fuel, whether domestic or foreign. Global climate change is not waiting
