Divest New Jersey's holdings from fossil fuels.
Why is this important?
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, and with climate data indicating that such extreme weather events will be increasingly likely as our climate warms, it's more urgent than ever to reassess our dependency on fossil fuels.
It's time to put the health and sanity of our world culture before the wealth of any individual nation, state, organization or CEO. Divesting New Jersey from fossil fuels will help send a message that we will not allow the future of our planet to be decided by an industry that does not care about the harm it inflicts.
