Divest Santa Fe from Fossil Fuels
Please help me to urge Santa Fe Mayor David Coss and the City Council to set in motion a divestment of City of Santa Fe holdings from fossil fuels in two to five years. There are many viable solar and wind investments that could replace damaging fossil fuel holdings for the city and its employees. It is critical that progressive cities such as ours lead the way toward halting and mitigating global climate change.
Why is this important?
Santa Fe's policy-making has been holding a torch to social and environmental justice while beautifying our city and improving our lives. Divesting from all fossil fuels is one important step in our transition to renewable energy. Please take the long view for our kids.
