Why is this important?
Fossil fuels are a major contributor towards global warming. The planet's temperature has already risen by 1 degree, which might not sound much, but scientists argue even a 2 degree rise is likely to have a serious impact on the environment. By cutting back on the usage of fossil fuels and encouraging universities to use greener methods, we not only can educate on the dangers of fossil fuels, but we can make a difference to the environment, people's quality of life and we can change the future for the better.
